Permanent eyebrow makeup touch‑up after 6–8 weeks

Eyebrow Touch‑Up (after 6–8 weeks)

A key step for a perfect and long‑lasting eyebrow result. Make sure every detail is refined.

Why Is a Brow Touch‑Up Essential?

The touch‑up, also called re‑pigmentation, is an integral and very important part of the permanent eyebrow procedure. It is usually performed 6–8 weeks after the first pigmentation, when the skin has fully healed and the pigment has stabilized.

During healing, some pigment may naturally be removed by the body (even 30–70% depending on skin and aftercare). The touch‑up fills any gaps, strengthens color, refines the shape and ensures long‑term, even results.

What Does the Touch‑Up Include?

  • Assessment of the Initial Result

Analysis of healed brows and identification of areas that need more pigment.

  • Pigment Refill

Re‑introducing pigment where it did not take well or faded too much.

  • Color Reinforcement

If needed, the color can be intensified for the desired saturation.

  • Shape Refinement

Small adjustments to ensure symmetry and the ideal shape.

  • Long‑Term Durability

A touch‑up significantly improves the longevity of the result.

Optimal Timing and Why It Matters

The recommended time for a touch‑up is 6 to 8 weeks after the first treatment. This is when the skin has fully regenerated and the initial result is visible. Too early can irritate the skin; too late may require more intensive re‑pigmentation.

Remember that permanent makeup is a two‑step process. The first treatment creates the base; the touch‑up perfects it. Skipping it may reduce longevity and final satisfaction.
